The Branch advocates for fair treatment of all residents including apartment dwellers and home buyers, and for the availability of loans for home purchases. Tri-County Chair Ulysses Burt has undertaken to educate members of the branch about the rights and obligations of those who, due to economic disadvantage, are eligible for public housing. The branch has also addressed the issue of inequitable lending practices by fiduciary institutions.
